Aesthetics Video

This week in AED 200 we learned why art is important why art is created, aesthetics, the context of art and themes of art. Plato’s theory was very important. He originated from the 5th century Athens, Greece. Plato said “There is a beauty by which all things are beautiful” and by this I believe that he means that the things we see in the world was their idea. I feel like his contribution is important because he sees the beauty in the object of it’s own nature. I felt that the video on the evolutionary Origins of Art and Aesthetics was very hard to comprehend what was going on. Changeux views on this topic was that art is artifacts of artistic creation is the neurobiologist viewpoint.
